Recipe 1: Chicken Fry
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp salt
- Oil for frying
Steps:
- Marinate chicken with spices.
- Heat oil in pan.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Serve hot.
Recipe 2: Gulab Jamun
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk powder
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tbsp ghee
- Sugar syrup
- Oil for frying
Steps:
- Mix ingredients into dough.
- Shape into small balls.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Soak in sugar syrup.
Recipe 3: Mango Lassi
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe mangoes
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Ice cubes
Steps:
- Peel and chop mangoes.
- Blend mangoes with yogurt, sugar, and ice.
- Serve chilled in tall glasses.
Recipe 4: Chicken Cutlet
Ingredients:
- 500g boneless chicken
- 1 cup yogurt
- Indian masalas
- Maida flour
- Oil
- Eggs
- Panko or regular breadcrumbs
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh or dried Italian herbs
- Oil for frying
Steps:
- Prepare three shallow bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs
- Dredge each chicken piece in flour (shake off excess), dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumbs, pressing firmly for crispiness.
- Let breaded chicken rest on a wire rack or tray for 10 minutes before frying so the coating sticks better
- Fry chicken in hot oil (about 1/4-1/2 inch deep) over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through, or air fry for a healthier option.
