Chicken Fry

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet.
  4. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
  5. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.

Gulab Jamun

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix milk powder, flour, and ghee. Add milk gradually to form a soft dough.
  2. Divide the dough into small balls, ensuring there are no cracks.
  3. In a pan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil and add cardamom powder. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet.
  5. Fry the dough balls on medium heat until golden brown.
  6. Drain and immediately soak them in the warm sugar syrup for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Mango Lassi

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • A pinch of cardamom powder (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, combine chopped mangoes, yogurt, milk, sugar, and cardamom powder.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. If desired, add ice cubes and blend again for a chilled lassi.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Chicken Cutlet

Ingredients:

  • 500g minced chicken
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine minced chicken, onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into small cutlets.
  3. Dip each cutlet in the beaten egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the cutlets until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with chutney or sauce.
